Advice on enrolling in class after joining

It is essential to contact a tutor before joining a class as it may be fully booked.

Every year members must re-enrol in class. Enrolment can be done by the member through the “Member Profile” page. Log into your profile page by clicking the Member Login button on the U3A Redlands home page or at the bottom of any page. After entering your U3A Redlands membership number and password you will be directed to your “Member Profile”. At the bottom of your profile select the button “Classes 2023”.

It is easiest to search for your class under “Class name”. This option generates an alphabetical list of all the classes. Select your class by clicking into the square beside the class name, then select “Next” at the base of the page. These actions enrol you into your class and this information appears in your “Member Profile”.

If there is any issue, enrolment can be done by contacting your tutor or the U3A Redlands office.

Whilst re-enrolment in class is required at the start of each year, re-enrolment is NOT required for each term.

Please remember to show your membership card at your first class.

Do I need to renew my membership each year?

Yes. Your U3A Redlands membership is valid for one calendar year (1st January to 31st December) and needs to be renewed each year in order to continue attending classes. You do not need to Join again, only to Renew. If you have a U3A Redlands membership number from a few years back, you are classified as a member for renewing purposes. Please contact the office 3821 3888 to confirm this.

Whilst re-enrolment in class is required at the start of each year, re-enrolment is NOT required for each term.

How much does a class cost?

The cost of most classes are covered in your membership. Some classes have an additional cost to cover the cost of materials or venue hire. Any additional costs will be explained by the tutor at the time of enrolment.

When are the classes run?

Unless otherwise stated, all classes start during the first week of the school term. Some classes run outside of term time. Use the Calendar to check if a class is running on a particular day.

How can I become a volunteer tutor?

Contact the office to provide a description of your proposed class. The Tutor Liaison Officers will guide you through the steps required.
