Gardeners group 1

Plant Lovers Group

Home Gardeners, here is an opportunity to get close with nature.

For plant lovers, being a gardener is so much more than watering plants and mowing the lawn.  To us, it’s a means of self-expression and a source of pride, an opportunity to commune with nature, and it’s our happy place.

The aim of this new group is to provide an opportunity for all home gardeners, regardless of experience, to explore the natural processes of plant nutrition, and how these can best be supported.  It’s about returning to the basics, to gardening with Nature – and not with fertilisers and pesticides.

The group also provides opportunities to learn and to share in the company of like-minded people, to open your garden to group members, to swap plants and knowledge, visit plant sales and shows, and perhaps travel with garden tours. The group meets on the first Wednesday of the month, except January.  A payment of $5 is required to help with the hire of the hall.
