Fringed Lily At Greater Glider Reserve

Botany in the Bush

Botany in the Bush involves a pleasant stroll through local bushland (a different site each month) where we uncover some amazing treasures! We find beautiful wildflowers, including orchids, and get to know the names of our local trees. This makes future walks with friends and family so much more interesting when you can share your new-found knowledge about the native plants they are seeing. Our most popular walks include Blue Lake on North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah), Venmans Bushland Reserve and seeing the magnificent trees and enjoying the cool breezes on Cochiemudlo Island.

During Summer we meet and 7:30 am, and in the Winter at 8:00 am.

Please note in 2025 we shall not be meeting in August.
